Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is Home Care Different from Home Health Care?

Home Care offers non-clinical assistance, such as personal and companion care, to assist with activities of daily living, whereas Home Health Care addresses medical concerns requiring skilled clinical attention from medically trained professionals.

  • How Do You Screen Your Applicants Before Hire?

All applicants MUST adhere to drug screening, a thorough background check to include driving and credit histories, verified references, current CPR training, and a TB test.

  • Are Your Staff Formally Trained?

Although many of our cargivers/care partners possess clinical certifications, personal and companion-only placement does not require any formal nursing or medical training.

  • What Experience Does Your Caregivers/Care Partners Have?

Many of our caregivers/care partners gained their experience through extensive education, professional training, or working/volunteering in various healthcare settings, i.e., Long-Term Care,  Formal Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Care Agencies and/or Private Duty placement.

  • What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?

We only accept private pay (out-of-pocket) at this time.

  • What If a Caregiver/Care Partner Misses a Shift?

We have on-call staff members on standby to step in and assist as needed in case of call-offs, no shows, or if a problem arises during a visit.

  • Do You Require a Contract?

No.  All clients can cancel their service(s) at least within 48-hour notice.
